BROADWAY STARS FIRST TIME: JEREMY JORDAN
I asked Jeremy Jordan when he first knew he wanted to be a performer. “When I was 12 I saw ‘West Side Story’ live in my hometown” — Corpus Christi, Texas. “It was real exciting.”
Jordan has been nominated for a Tony Award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Musical, and for both an Outer Critic Circle and Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Actor in a Musical — all for “Newsies,” although he was also the lead actor this season in “Bonnie and Clyde.”
